| 5 / 5 | Con te partiro
Mme nicole AMBAYE (London UK) - 2 November 2007 I heard this song for the very first time early one morning as I was just waking up. I felt so much emotion listening to the music, the voice and the lyrics; I felt transported into another world. Since then I have loved that voice like no other. One of the very best of the Opera Singers of our times! |
| 5 / 5 | Treat yourself and discover a master of his art!
A. Henderson "Alistair" (Bristol, England) - 26 December 2007 To me Andrea Bocelli is the only person to truly cross the devide of popular music and opera. His voice is a classical instrument - within the same note he can switch to so many different emotions. Opera critics enjoy making their little world inaccessible - but Andrea takes your hand and leads you to a new universe of music. I don't speak Italien but enjoy a sense of what he is singing about through his interpretations. Buy this CD and you'll be won over, and probably dip into his previous works. If you research his life, you will see he's a great inspiration.... Read Full Review » |
| 5 / 5 | Melancholy
Ms. Gillian D. Barr "gibarr" (Edinburgh,Mid-Lothian,Scotland) - 7 November 2007 Andrea Bocelli has the most melancholy voice that you can listen to time and time again. Any body would be a fool not to hear him - long may he continue. |
| 5 / 5 | Magnificent
Mrs. H. L. Little - 7 December 2007 I purchased this because I was a huge fan of Con Te Partiro and the English language version which is the duet Time to Say Goodbye with Sarah Brightman. The man's voice and vocal range are absolutely outstanding, and the tracks on this album allow him to show that off to full effect. A great album for fans of Bocelli, or anyone who misses Pavarotti. |
| 4 / 5 | Not Completely the Best
Mark Edward Wealthy "Kak" (Kettering, England) - 12 November 2007 Of course Andrea Bocelli is always great to listen to. However, I don't want to be a kiljoy here but, how can a Bocelli album be described as 'the best' without him singing the brilliant 'Miserere'? Mark |
