| 5 / 5 | Brilliant Idea
J. Chippindale (England) - 23 November 2005 What are the best things about this toy? Well anyone who has had to try to wash crayons or felt tips pens off furniture or walls will know how difficult it can be to get them clean. With this toy you do not have to worry. In effect the 'pen' does not draw on anything but the mat. For me that is a tremendous plus. Secondly the toy can be quickly folded or rolled up and put away, another big plus. So that's the grown ups sorted out. For the children it is a magical thing to see something that they have drawn eventually disappear and they end up with a clean mat. This in a way also encourages them to improve their drawing skills. As they get older their drawing improves as they are not copying something they drew a long time ago and think of all the paper that can be saved. Probably most important of all, toys are for enjoyment and children get lots of pleasure from this one. |

- 11 January 2006 This really is a life saver! My son is one and a half and is very creative - unfortunately normally on the walls or on the kitchen cupboards! A friend recommended Aqua Draw and when I went to buy it I saw it had been updated to Aqua Draw Deluxe. The extra stencils won't be used just yet but they will certainly come in handy in a couple of months time. I couldn't believe that just by adding water to a pen that you could leave children to draw to their hearts content, not having to worry that they will doodle on the floors or walls. Absolutely brilliant. And to top it all off it folds neatly away. One other fun idea we had was to put the mat on the floor in the bathroom. Great fun can now be had when getting out the bath - not just for the little one!!... Read Full Review » |

mary "mary" (spain) - 15 August 2006 I bought this aqua draw deluxe only a few weeks ago.... I planned to give it as a gift, my 2 children (2 and 4 years) saw this before I could put it away. It is the best investment I have made, no mess, just plain simple fun........I had to rip it out of their hands after nearly 2 hours of playing with this. For parents with children both young and older this is perfect. As well as been fun it's also educational with letters and numbers to draw over.... Read Full Review » |

Mrs. A. E. Corner "Annie Corner" (Yorkshire) - 30 July 2007 I bought this for my youngest boy who was 2.5, he absolutely loved it, my 7yr old daughter loved it, and even my 11yr old son was seen to be playing with it (when he thought I wasn't looking!). If you're like me, and like your children to be creative, but without the mess, then this is for you. You fill the 'pens' with water and as kid draws over the special mat, the picture appears. There is absolutely no mess whatsoever, and the most they can do is get a bit of water out of the pen on something, but no ink to stain clothes etc. This is just a fabulous buy and whoever thought of it deserves the biggest medal ever. I will be buying more for other children's birthdays !... Read Full Review » |

S. Thomson (uk) - 4 November 2007 Seems like a great idea keeps them out of mischief for a while, until they get bored of drawing on mat and start drawing on other things it doesn't leave a mark on the other things but the nib of the pen then ends up dirty and when they go back to mat it seems to take in all the dirty off the nib leaving it impossible to get off, also once my daughter found out it was water that makes it work it ended up getting juice cup thrown on it, There Very hard to keep clean toddlers will think nothing of putting sticky hands on it or running over it, Nightmare to keep Clean Over all its good fun for them, just make sure there not eating sweets or anything near it and don't have sticky hands and it might last the pace. ...
