| 5 / 5 | Its fun, but not as we know it!!!!!
Mr. R. Jukes "trickydicky38" (Birmingham, UK) - 13 January 2006 This is a toy with a real double life. If you have a competitive streak, and kids, don't buy it unless you want some late nights!!!! It is mega-addictive, even if you get the high score, you will want to play again to try and beat it your-self. On a fairly serious note, it is very entertaining, a great ice-breaker at parties, and as far as the kids go, it teaches co-ordination and the try try again mentality. Not sure about durability, the vocal for "Flick It" sounds like "Swig It", and the maximum high score of 250 is too low. But,well, it's only a toy, and a very good one at that. Over-all it's a five out of five from us!!... Read Full Review » |
| 2 / 5 | Bop It Extreme 2!
Sam (England) - 19 April 2005 Bop It Extreme was a toy from Hasbro and most people liked it. I In 2003, I found this toy at www.game.com and I really wanted it! There was a demo on the website and I just really want it. I went to a place called DDAT which is to help people. I don;t go their now because I go to the Tearpy space which is really good for special needs people like me because I'm special needs. The Thearpy space is in the Park School in Knowle. Bop It Extreme 2 is the best Bop It Extreme ever! Bop It! Twist It! Pull It! Flick It! Spin It! You can play Vox bop with voice commands and Beat bop with beat commands. | 5 / 5 | It should be called "Bop to 250"
M. MISER (Nowhere I will tell u) - 26 May 2005 I was bored and decided to myself to give this gadget a try. This product was amazingly addictive and I was always wanting to find out how high of a score I could get. Unfortunately; by 250 the score finishes and the game ends. So no; for those of you hopeing to break 1000 or even 1000000, it can't be attempted as 250 is the maximum. The durability on this is descent enough. However, I feel anymore of reaching the 200 score marks and the amount of force which I am Twisting,Boping,Spinning, or flicking at the speed by then i think will slowly break this product. Educational wise; this game is good at focusing people's coordination. If you have the time to spend and the money; get this it is a great product to have fun in your free time.... | 4 / 5 | Bopping Fun
"russell44" - 25 February 2005 A wonderful brightly coloured contraption, which doesn't take up too much space in the children's bedroom! Great for improving dexterity, memory, concentration etc and at times, hysteria, when on the "pass it" mode. My 7 and 11 year olds do well with this toy, they are quite contented to play individually and get the best score they can. There are 2 modes "Beat Bop" and "Vox Bop" one of which commands you via a voice and the other in which you are commanded by a sound, both are entertaining although the sound one is more difficult. Ideal for parties...try doing this after a couple of drinks!! Only gripe is the "High score" of 250 was attainable by my 11 year old after a week or two. Therefore the toy no longer poses a challenge to her.... Read Full Review » |
| 5 / 5 | Impossible to just watch
B4 member (UK) - 8 October 2007 These kind of games don't usually appeal to me - but this had me hooked. Whether playing on your own or with a group it is undeniably addictive. For those of you who are over 30 and can remember the electronic game "Simon" this is a far superior, jazzed up progression of that. But if you think remembering Simon means you're too grown up for Bop It think again! It's impossible to sit and watch others play - you just want to join in. Easy to hold, easy to use - the only hard bit is getting good at it! ..and if you feel guilty for wiling away so many hours, just be consoled by the fact you're improving your reflexes and dexterity in the process ...
